The Ethereum World's Fair is set to take place in Buenos Aires, Argentina, from November 17 to 22, 2025, as part of the Devconnect event. This six-day extravaganza promises to bring together the Ethereum community and anyone curious about the real-world applications of blockchain technology. With a focus on showcasing the potential of Ethereum in areas such as stablecoins, DeFi, decentralized identity, prediction markets, games, and more, the Ethereum World's Fair aims to demonstrate how Ethereum can bring a nation onchain.
A New Era for Devconnect
Devconnect ARG will be different from previous events. The main venue will be La Rural, which will serve as the central hub for the entire event. This will allow attendees to easily navigate the various activities, application showcases, and community hubs. The Ethereum World's Fair will transform the entire venue into an immersive experience, with 15,000+ attendees expected to explore the app showcases, events, cowork, and other spaces.
Application Showcases: Hands-on Demos
One of the highlights of the Ethereum World's Fair will be the application showcases. These hands-on demonstrations will give attendees a chance to see Ethereum in action, with live demos of various Ethereum apps. This will provide a unique opportunity for developers and users to interact with the latest Ethereum applications and learn about their features and capabilities.
Core Programming Under One Roof
The main events, including the kickoff Ethereum Day on November 17, will take place within the venue. This will provide attendees with a comprehensive experience, with talks, workshops, and opening sessions all under one roof. The core programming will be a key part of the event, offering insights into the latest developments and trends in the Ethereum ecosystem.
Cowork & Community Hubs: Collaboration and Creation
The cowork and community hubs will be an essential part of the Ethereum World's Fair. These spaces will provide attendees with desks, Wi-Fi, meeting rooms, and topic-focused areas run by the community. This will enable developers and users to collaborate, create, and connect with each other, fostering a sense of community and innovation.
Tickets and Pricing
Tickets for the Ethereum World's Fair are now live, with various options available to suit different budgets and preferences. The general attendee ticket costs $120 USD, while the early bird ticket is available for $99 USD (limited to a certain number of tickets). There are also discounted tickets available for LATAM via zkPassport ($60 USD), ARG Locals via Sovra ($20 USD), academics ($20 USD), youth (under 18) ($5 USD), and core devs & protocol guild (free).
Paying in Crypto
Attendees can pay for their tickets using various cryptocurrencies, including Daimo Pay, which accepts almost any coin on any chain. Alternatively, they can pay in fiat via Stripe.
Devconnect Week Events
In addition to the Ethereum World's Fair, there will be various independent events taking place across the city during Devconnect week. These events will include hackathons, summits, social meetups, and more. Each event will have its own ticketing and registration process.
Press & Content Creator Passes
Journalists and content creators can apply for a press/content creator pass, which will provide them with access to designated media zones and recording space. They will also receive press updates and interview opportunities with speakers and EF teams.
The Supporter Program
The Supporter Program is an opportunity for organizations and projects to sponsor Devconnect and showcase their applications at the Ethereum World's Fair. This program is application-based, and supporters will receive central and uninterrupted access to over 10,000+ Ethereum users and developers over six days. They will also have access to showcase spaces, branding opportunities, and mentions on social channels.
Open Initiatives
There are several open initiatives available for participants, including the Destino Devconnect grants, which provide up to $1,000 funding and mentorship to Latam organizers and builders running local Ethereum projects. The DIPs (Devconnect Improvement Proposals) initiative supports anyone with a cool idea to level up the attendee experience, providing support to build it at Devconnect and visibility to 10,000+ attendees.
Visas
Attendees who require a visa to visit Argentina can ask for a visa invitation letter via the Devconnect website.
