Devconnect, the Ethereum World's Fair, is just around the corner, and the excitement is building. In two weeks, the doors will open to La Rural in Buenos Aires, and the Ethereum community will gather to showcase the latest innovations and applications on the Ethereum network. This year's event promises to be unlike any other, with a focus on real-world adoption and practical use cases.
Inside La Rural: A City Within a City
La Rural is the home base for Devconnect, covering an impressive 35,000 square meters under one roof. The venue is designed to provide an immersive experience, with everything you need to explore the Ethereum ecosystem in one place. From essentials to extravaganza, you'll find coworking and meeting rooms, on-ramping stations, food trucks (payable with crypto), live music, cinema, and even a soccer pitch.
The Ethereum World's Fair: Ethereum in Action
At the heart of Devconnect is the Ethereum World's Fair, featuring 75+ teams showcasing live applications across themed districts. Think of it as a map of the frontier, with districts dedicated to DeFi, Social, Privacy, Hardware & Wallets, Gaming, AI, L2s, and Collectibles. Each district is a place where you can see, touch, and try what's possible on Ethereum.
Hands-on Experiences
Meet the builders, try the apps, explore quests, and see what's ready today. One ticket gets you into every district at La Rural, providing full access to the World's Fair. This is your chance to experience the Ethereum ecosystem in action and discover new applications and use cases.
Community Hubs: The Heart of Collaboration
Community Hubs are spaces created by the community around specific Ethereum topics. Walk in, join a session, contribute to a doc, or meet the people advancing each area. From LATAM Hub to Onchain Art Hub, and from Account Abstraction Hub to Governance Geeks Hub, there's a Community Hub for everyone.
Discussion Corners: Propose a Session, Gather a Crowd
Want to host a conversation or working session? Discussion Corners are bookable slots for attendee-led discussions. They're not for product pitches or marketing, but for ideas worth exploring with others. Open to all attendees to join and participate, great for open discussions, brainstorms, design critiques, and post-talk debriefs.
The Devconnect App
The Devconnect App will be available soon, providing your key to exploring the World's Fair. Navigate the venue and districts, calendar and programming, store your tickets, complete quests, and discover apps as you explore. Collect POAPs (digital onchain memories), pay with crypto via the integrated wallet or your existing one, and dogfood throughout with web3 integrations directly inside the app.
Ethereum Day: The Kickoff
November 17 at La Rural is Ethereum Day, the official opening of Devconnect and the moment the whole ecosystem gathers on one stage. Expect protocol updates, EF perspectives, app demos, and a shared view of what's next. Included in your main Devconnect ticket, don't miss the opening ceremony and talks from the Ethereum Foundation, core contributors, and app builders.
